Judo

 Literally, the word JUDO means gentle way. Legend says that the principles of judo were discovered during a harsh winter, noticing that tree branches reacted differently under the weight of heavy snow. Larger broke while more flexible bent and got rid of the "aggressor".

The gentle way was born

 This discipline, which originates from Japan, was established by Jigoro Kano Master in 1882. 
 However, judo discovers its sources in those of Japanese history. It is really gotten from a few hand to hand fighting schools where the samurai (Japanese warrior) took in the art of battling through Jujitsu strategies. Judo is drilled these days in all schools, universities and colleges in Japan. There are overall more than 15 million judokas, including 500 000 dark belts.

 Expert Kawaishi touched base in France in 1935 and made the first judo club (Jujitsu Club of France); he is the organizer of the French judo. The primary Championships were held in France in 1943, the first men's World Championships in 1956 and 1980 for ladies. 

Judo male was available as a show sport at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. 

 It was at last admitted to the OLYMPIC Munich in 1972; conferred on five judokas, France won three decorations. 

 With respect to the ladies' judo, now formally admitted to the Olympics, he was available as a showing sport in Seoul in 1988. He is authoritatively selected in the system from 1992 OLYMPIC Barcelona.
