Judo


 Literally, the word JUDO means gentle way. Legend says that the principles of judo were discovered during a harsh winter, noticing that tree branches reacted differently under the weight of heavy snow. Larger broke while more flexible bent and got rid of the "aggressor".

 This discipline, which originates from Japan, was established by Jigoro Kano Master in 1882.

 It was at last admitted to the OLYMPIC Munich in 1972; conferred on five judokas, France won three decorations.

 With respect to the ladies' judo, now formally admitted to the Olympics, he was available as a showing sport in Seoul in 1988. He is authoritatively selected in the system from 1992 OLYMPIC Barcelona.
